| 212-7 and Shah involved in yet another ridiculous run out,he is fast getting a reputation for pathetic run outs. Not quite in the Boycott or Inzamam class yet though. Swann batted well, ends the argument over him or Panesar for one day games for a few days anyway. |

| 234-8 is a total that we couldn't have dreamed of early on. Well batted Shah,Collingwood and Swann. |

| Shah great with 82. Swann also played very well with 37 and Collingwood earlier in the innings with 42. England 8-234 of their 50 overs. Sidebottom and Broad to open the bowling and hopefully for the poms get some early wickets. Going to be a good night ahead with the chase for Sri Lanka.

| That was a pretty impressive recovery i must say. i gave up watching after seeing bopra's dismissal figuring Eng would be lucky to make 200 This match might be worth watching now, though Eng will have to bowl well to be any chance

| I think the first one to Cook was pretty tough and was at that height that the ball can often be lost in the background. The next one the wicketkeeper dropped was pretty tough too and is forgivable. 4-64 off 18. Safe to say the series will go to 1-1 now.

| Good bowling by Swann but i don't think we will ever know if the return catch carried as the camera work isn't great and the camera shakes just as it reaches Swann so you can't really see. Game all but over now surely at 124-7. Sadly it appears whoever wins the toss on Sunday will go 2-1 up as batting first is a hell of an advantage. |

| 165-9 and my money is still on Sri Lanka. England have a very poor record of cleaning up last wickets in one day internationals.

| Well, they cleaned up this time. Good fight back to level 1-1. Shah is showing some promise as an ODI batsman and Swann was certainly impressive. |
