Oz seem to back doing their stuff once again after their Twenty20 setback. Not unexpectedly, India are probably still basking in their Cup glory; I have seen it before in 1983. Some determined fightback is required in the forthcoming matches.

I missed the Aussie innings, but was lucky enough to witness Yuvraj's innings - great knock.

Similar thing happened after the 1983 world-cup. Then it was the West Indies which humiliated India, now it is the Aussies.

I do not see this Indian team giving any fight.

These results just about sum up what is going to happen when the Indians visit Australia in a couple of months time.

Going by what has happened in the series so far, I doubt very much.

Well done India, unusual for the Aussies to throw away a winning position but the series needed India to win from a neutral point of view, just as a win for Sri lanka in the next game against England is what we want for a brilliant climax in that series.

Sets it up nicely for the next game.

Some crucial decisions went India's way, such as Dhoni's stumping of Ponting. Hayden should've gone on to three figures, and well done to RP Singh for bowling Symonds just when India needed a wicket. Harbhajan Singh also bowled well. After Symonds was bowled and Hogg was run out first ball it really was all over for Australia.

It was good to see a close contest, even though umpires had a fair share in India's victory.

Now it remains to be seen whether the Indians can keep the momentum going or the Aussies rebound.
