Colly gone LBW - well just Swann and Bopara to try and guide England home.

Bopara outhought by Malinga, it's all uphill from here for England now.

That ball by Malinga to dismiss Bopara was fantastic. The batsman so completely missed the slower delivery that his eyes were nowhere near the ball when he played at it.

It is now, I cant see England scoring the 50 odd needed to win.

33 runs needed p_c, it's possible IF they keep their heads.

Yes Nostromo that delivery from Malinga was fantastic, Bopara was bamboozled with the slower one.

16 to win with 2 wickets left, this is turning into a good match despite the poor weather and pitch.

Who says low scoring matches arent exciting!

England win! That was a tense finish to a surprisingly good match given the conditions.

Not the biggest supporter of one day cricket, this has been a good contest between bat and ball though, far better than one side making 300+ after winning the toss on a dead wicket.

England can learn from today that Cook is not a one day player, that Pietersen needs a rest, for himself and England.

Also there can be no doubt that the selectors got ir right on this occasion, Swann is better suited to PJ cricket than Monty.

A good perfomance from Sri Lanka, no shame in a deafeet like this, they fought to the last minute.

O'h and Duckworth Lewis has been made to look stupid once again.

Well to be honest, I think low-scoring ODIs are generally more interesting, and make for closer finishes, than those where a team batting first gets 300+.

Looks like Notts beat Sri Lanka yesterday, with a little help from the Durham contingent of Mustard and Collingwood. Did the others do anything?
