3rd ODI: England v Sri Lanka, Colombo

Sri Lanka 164 all out (41.1 overs out of 48)

Good bowling from Swann, who took 4 wickets.

Dilshan saved the Sri Lankan innings, before succumbing to Swann and lofting it up to Collingwood.

The likes of Malinga and Fernando will have to take a fair amount of English wickets to get them back into this.

England made a poor start but seem to be recovering now. We will have to wait and see. I think Murali would have made a big difference for SL.

The "fiercely determined" (as per Cricinfo) Pietersen has just gone for 8 runs. 47 for 3 and this is beginning to look a bit tricky.

England: 54-4 (13.1 overs).

England are going to struggle from here, Sri lanka are bowling well, useing the conditions that are favourable to the bowlers in this match.

Although this is a low scoring match it looks like we could be in for a close finish. England need Colly or Shah to bat through and get a substantial score if they are to win - not easy on this track against some fine Sri Lankan bowling

True - If these two players stick arround, England will win needing less than 4 runs an over, but Sri Lanka are bowling toght.

England now 94-5, Sri Lanka get Shah - Bopara needs play like in test cricket with just over 3 an over needed.

Depends on Collinwood I think p_c, Swann can bat a bit but this pitch is not easy.

Agreed, if Colly bats through i cant see England losing. We should have enough batting to support him.
