Singing Lee!

Brett Lee, who will be 35 at the time, will almost certainly have retired from active cricket by the 2011 World Cup in the "subcontinent" (grrr...how I hate that word!) but he appears to have been given a new role. He has been asked to compose and perform the tournament's theme music and song.

LOL. I hope he does better than this effort.

Surely no amount of money could be fair compensation for that type of humiliation

He was in a pub band here.

He played electric guitar and did not sing.

Hopefully for India, Pakistan and Sri Lanka in 2011.

That happens again.

The Indians are thinking laterally here. They'll make a recording of Lee's singing and if any opposing team (including Oz) is getting the better of India during the tournament, Lee's song will be blasted out on the loudspeakers. He is likely to be even more effective that way than with a ball in his hand in getting people out!

Funny how his voice in that hit song sounded almost identical to Jason Donovan's.

Funny that you should say so. My wife also thinks that Lee's voice is something like Donovan's; but she thinks that Lee is a whole lot better looking.
