Zimbabwe vs West Indies 1st ODI

Zimbabwe 274-8 (50 overs)
West Indies 87-3 (24 overs)

I was under the impression that the WI team had turned the corner!

Great win for Zimbabwe here by 31 runs.

Good to see Ray Price back playing again as i rate him as a decent bowler, perhaps the biggest thing for Zimbabwe is the fact they seem to have batted as a unit for once with all the top 7 making double figures which hasn't happened very often in recent years.

Worrying times for West Indies despite yet another ton by Chanderpaul.

Now where is Paoli when you need him?

It looks more like Zimbabwe have turned the corner to be honest! And after a re run of Zim/Aus 20/20 match where Australia got well and truly thrashed on ESPN last night makes me wonder if Zimbabwe are going up in the world....

At least the Windies have fought back well and look like they will comfortably take the second match.
