Australia v India MCG

The Indian bowlers have done exceptionally well to bowl Australia out for 159. The pitch appears to assist quick bowlers and now it remains to be seen how the Indian batsmen fare against Lee & company.

102/5 with Yuvraj just getting out. The Indian batsmen are struggling after a good start. C'mon Django, let's have one of your doomsday predictions that work the other way.

PS: I am disappointed that Tendulkar did not walk when he should have known he nicked the ball.

Oh c'mon! That was the absolute faintest of nicks possible. It's quite possible that he didn't feel a thing. I can't swear that I would have, either.

Yes poor old Yuvraj.......

I took a pic of him outside the dressingroom after his failure at the Gabba

Why? He might get a poor LBW next game. Bad umpiring decisions have been part and parcel of the game for over a century and it was only the recent Ind/Aus series where the issue turned into such a drama.

As expected Australian bowlers bowled fantastically and made indians work hard for their runs

Still the middle order is not very convincing, especially yuvraj-he looks totally out of touch.I think its time for either Dinesh Karthik or manoj tiwari or even suresh raina to try

overall a very satisfying and confidence boosting win for this young indian team

One can expect India's next game against srilanka too will be a close contest

I don't believe it. Yuvraj has that constipated look all the time. That picture could just as easily have been taken after his six sixes earlier this year!

Yes, a star of the future no doubt. Like a young McGrath really. I suspect he will go on to take 500-600 test wickets

yeah the indian media is all gung-ho, some of them even comparing him to kapil dev. i would really wait Seamer before i compare him to mc grath. he is showing promise but whether he is able to maintain his fitness and develop more variety is to be seen. there were quite a few bowlers for india like nehra, balaji who came on the international scene and dissapeared quickly. i guess he needs to be nurtured and taken care by the indian board.
