| I'm sure you're right about the scheduling, and maybe about the organisers and players. This match is in Pakistan, though, isn't it? Maybe the competition could have been moved up by a day to avoid Ramadan on this occasion? (Not that I have strong views about this, any more than I do about cricket being played on Sundays in England. It's really one for the local people in Pakistan to make their own minds up on. I'll leave it to them.) |

| There's a decent crowd nonetheless. Not easy to fit international cricket schedules around Ramadhan, as it is the start of the cricket season in Pakistan. To take a month out of the itinerary would be difficult. |

| The fact that it was a D/N match probably helped the schedule, since only a few hours of the match were in the hours of fasting...people were then able to break their fasts in the innings break and settle down to a feast of batting from Pakistan (or not, as the case actually was!) |
