Like everyone else Shaka, I agree to greater extent with the just of the article you've shared with us here, Maindad's critcism of Woolmer was by generally seen as a case of sour grapes, he accuses Woolmer of not having understood the Pakistan cricket culture, when in fact he is guilty himself of not understanding the modern cricket culture. I'm not sure I agree with the "India is the second best team in the world" bit, but in jist the essence of the article here lay's emphasis on everyone being patient, and give Woolmer, and the team time to settle down. And I'm most willing to do that provided we progressively show signs of improvement...which our batting unfortunately has not been doing as fast enough or frequently enough as I would have liked. I still though have enormous faith in the team, and him, if we stick together for long enough, we'll be in a really good shape in a few years time. Right now we do I admit have some way to go before we can seriously think of chalanging the number 1 spot in the rankings, as are England right now, and our best chance of having a shot at that would be 4 more years of Woolmer, 4 and perhaps even more than 4 years of someone who knows how to get the best out of individuals, who has no prefrances, no grudges, of some one who is true professional. And for that reason I'm sure he will not be affected at all by all this negative press, he's experienced enough to know how to deal with it, and I'm sure he's not letting it have any effect on him. I'm glad the PCB has made it a point to defend Woolmer, and give him their strong backing. ...it is a shame in honesty that Miandad is being so selfish here, as to think of only him self, and how Bob Woolmer coming in has made him unemployed, and not about the Pakistan team, I know he will say otherwise, but his statments reflect an envy for Woolmer.

I'm really very disapointed with Miandad, he ought to have behaved more maturely than this.
