Javed Miandad sacked.

PCB has sacked Javed Miandad from his post as the coach of the Pakistan National cricket team. Bob Woolmer is his replacement. Full story at http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport2/hi/cricket/3812573.stm.

What do you think? Is it a correct decision? What kind of changes will Woolmer bring?

Good luck to him. It's tough job.

Well it all depends on how is he supported. He can't bring the old glory back in six months. He will need time. Add to it, the current team is not as talented as it's predecessors. I think if he's given atleast *TWO* years, he will do a good job.

i think the team are a bunch of talented indivisuals, sure it will take time, but it will take an iron fist to do a SA to this Pakistan team. Unless he is granted a free hand, he might leave before his contract expires.

Jave was not sacked ,he resigned himself .These first media reports were wrong that he was sacked ,he himself in an interview said that he had problems with the selection matters so he decided to give away his job for good
