Of coarse, you had to Seamer And you did try but it didn't work out, at least for me, these stats have convinced me even further that neutral umpires are the way to go forward.

I don't think anybody has even tried to make the case that the umpiring was a decisive factor in the test matches at least. Woolmer would have to be an absolute nugget not to make a comment of any sorts though, some of the decisions like the non-lbw decision against Gilchrist were simply laughable. It's an issue which needed to be raised, as for Woolmer's record in charge, considering the weaked bowling line up and pretty inexperienced batting, most Pakistan fans are quite happy about the progress being made. The feeling in general is that Pakistan will be going to India in a battle-hardened and fairly optimistic state of mind. True there will still be some bitching and whining elements but that comes with the territory. I look forward to both the tour to India and the following one in the West Indies.

If a player said the same thing, he would be either fined or suspended by the ICC. Perhaps coaches should be brought under the same regulations as players as far as the players code of conduct is concerned? If Woolmer was, he would be fined or suspended for sure.

Seamer,

You were right, and I wasn't, Bob Woolmer is also bound to act according to the ICC code of conduct, he is also counted as an official. He may now face bans or fine as decided by the ICC.
