Yes Shoaib, Umar Gul and Shabbir Ahmed would make a big difference because they are attack bowlers. Shabbir can blow hot and cold, but he has genuine wicket-taking ability. When Shoaib tore through New Zealand on Pakistan's last tour there, Shabbir was ripping them out at the other end. The problem Rana and Razzaq have is they are very competent third seamers but are being asked to carry the attack here which is not their role.
