shahid afridi - not such a good player if u look at it

to be honest, shahid afridi isn't really a class player

look at his odi average, its only 24, thats just one run above bangladesh's javed omar
and his test average is just 2 runs above habibul bashar
but still he gets considered as one of the best in the world who deserves to be in the world xi

i think its because of how high his strike rate is, how he goes for boundaries all the time that people find exciting and has them looking at him in such a way

Afridi has improved alot under Bob, so in current times he is a class allrounder.

You must also remember is that he is also very good with the ball, he is clever with his variations and is a very good ODi spinner in my opinon. He has a deadly faster ball in his armoury and is able to bowl either a leg break or off break with the same action which troubles even the best of the batsmen.

His batting is something which a team would love to have at the start of the innings or at the end of the ininngs. He has set up many victorys with his fast boundary hitting technique and is one of the worlds most destructive batsmen.

I think he fully deserves to be in the World XI ODI team.

The fact he scores so quickly and is useful with the ball makes him an ideal candidate for ODI.He has an awful lot of work to do though to become a respected Test player. He is still young enough so he could do it.A lot will depend on Woolmer coaxing him along though.

Afridi can be a very good test player, as in tests of late, he hasn't tried to smack every ball for six, rather realising that he can have the same effect with a strike rate of 85 as he does with 185. And it's still entertaining.

He is 25, well according to reports. He seems to be around for ages because he made his debut 10 years ago when he was 16. I don't believe he is 25, he looks like he is 28-30 years old. There are other reason for me thinking his age is wrong, he has recently had a purple patch and has peaked as a batsmen, something which is common for batsmen at the age of 30, we saw the form of Ricky Ponting, Rahul Dravid, and other batsmen have peaked at 30 also. the birth records in Pakistan, India, and Bangladesh are not dependable and don't always show the right information, many have told me that Shahid Afridi is diffinalty not 25.

Are cricket players birth records sketchy so that age representitive sides can be loaded with overage players?

Shahid Afridi is a good Player

Shahid Afridi is no doubt a great player and entertainer in the world of cricket, he is a fantastic hitter of the ball and has a grip with his bat, he is very hard hitter of the ball, he is the good player and he is progressing..

Afridi is a good player the only wrong thing is his batting style, the way he play, he hit every ball and not let every ball to go...

Shahid Afridi is a great player his batting style is wrong
i know everyone agree with me.
