It'd be strange to call Mushtaq up after so long and then not play him, wouldn't it?

Its suprising to see no Umar Gul there. He bowled brilliantly in the 2nd test to the Indian batsmen when India toured Pakistan. There were no easy wickets either, he took all the Indian top order which were in top form.

He is a very good bowler who can bowl very intelligently with pace, swing and seam movement. He could have been a major threat to the Englaish batsmen if he played. But i wouldn't go over the top and say that he is better than Shoaib Akhtar. I think Akhtar will play a mojar part in the series for Pakistan, England batsmen aren't really that good at playing express pace.

Brett Lee averaged 40 with the ball in the Ashes so we didn't do that bad. I would say spin was the problem.
