Question Should Pakistan Be Worried about Team?

Team Pakistan are a great team right now. But if you look at there squad there best players are pretty old. Examples Inzamam-ul-Haq and Mohmmad Yousuf. These guys have what 3,4,5 at most in them. And the bowling The Pindi express is 30 I did'nt real know that. What I am saying is that Pakistan should devolp there young players for the future Mohmmad Asif,Mohmmad Khalil,Misbah-ul-Haq and much more. In 6 years the teams will be very differnt but I am happy with the Pakistani's right now. I personly think they are # 1 team in ODI cricket and in the futre test cricket as well.

Yes now is time when you can introduce young players into the team and build a proper good ODI squad for upcoming World Cup

Woolmer is canny old fox and knows what he is doing. He will choose the right time for blooding the new players.Perhaps it would be better to let the current good youngsters Butt and Akmal have a bit more time before burdening them with pressure of being a more senior player.

agree with you one hundered percent greg, Woolmer has his tricks and I am sure he knows what he is doing or we would not be winning right now, for now I think he has found a good 12-16 player that are playign well and like a team and I am sure he want to harness that.

I think there is no team in the world today like pakistan. With the recently aquired depth in batting... all the way down to Number 8 even Shoaib is making 45 odd knocks... there is no way we can be beaten.. quite simply. Pakistans top players like Inzimam are a bit old but remember we beat india without him. What we are witness to nowdays is a newfound Team spirit in which individual performences dont win matches THE WHOLE TEAM DOES. hurrah for team Pakistan... we are on our way to the top!!!!!!!

As far as replacements for Shaib are concerned.... ive got one thing to say ASIF
For Sami RANA
WATCH OUT AUSSIES HERE WE COME!!!!

I think pakistan are giving youngsters the chances with the ball but not so much with the bat. I would love to see pakistan doin what india did at home in which they found there new youngsters. I forgot what it was called but it was India seniors vs india A vs India B in a triangular tounament. I think Pakistan should do this so they could see the potential of any young rising stars.

uham that is quite a good team but the team i would pick would be different though.

1.Salman Butt
2.Kamran Akmal
3.Younis Khan
4.Inzamam
5.Mohammad Yousuf
6.Shoaib Malik
7.Shahid Afridi
8.Abdul Razzaq
9.Shoaib Akhtar
10.Rao Ifthikhar Anjum/Mohammad Sami
11.Mohammad Asif

No point choosing a Suber-sub as that rule is going to go now. Reason why i put Younis Khan at no3 is that i think younis is more adapted to that role and can cause stability and malik i believe can be made to bat more like afridi.

I think your team is almost right but Malik is a natural #3 he has a very good average at 3. Also I think Shoiab needs a back up he gets tired very earley and is having surgery these days so his back up YASIR ARAFAT or Rana Naveed.

yes but younis khan i think will suit more at no3 as malik is more of a striking batsman as we can see from the twenty20 tournament. but all this depends on the fall of the wickets
