Hve you ever seen Mohammad Sami's hair? It looks something like this . OK Mohammad Asif's hair is not that long and yeh Shoiab Akhtar bowls fast but his line and lenght is HORIBLe. Its easy short hair more lenght line and pace maybe better control of the bowl. Long hair absoultly no control and JUST PACE we dont just need pace we nedd line and lenght/SWING like Wasim and Waqar and Imran

on what basis are you judging Shoaib's line and length to be horrible??? he is bowling straight at the batsmen..... the reason why he is so important is that he sets the precedent for the batsmen to play loose shots on bowlers like rana and asif... do you think rattling a batsmens nerves is not important??? if a tendulkar is allowed to play his game... no bowler can stand up to him... its Shoaib that unsettles greats like him.. with his pace and body line. Secondly long hair has got NOTHING to do with line and length... Sarfaraz nawaz, Imran Khan, Dennis Lillee, Ian Botham all had long hair.... and they were masters of seam and swing... so i fail to see your point... just because a bowler is bald doesnt mean he will bowl well...

Angry

well since you posted those pics... im pressed to reply haha... did you see what rana did today? in the match in lahore.. Pak vs India? he bowled a horrible line... almost looked like he wanted to end the match earlier...than was needed... so point proven less hair doesnt mean a good line... he kept bowling short to dhoni.. in his place akhtar would have won us the match... trust me.. he wouldnt be hit all over the place at the death like rana did today!!!

well, dhoni seems to bat very well with long hair, I fail to see how long hair would affect bowling, plus President Musharaf said he personally liked dhoni's long hair.

Question Oh Yeh well were was Shoiab when Rana was at work

I didnt see Shoiab Akhtar out there giving his best. Oh yeh hes injured and maybe even scared about his bowling action. Rana tryed he gave it a lot of effort. While he was working Shoiab was enjyoing from the bench.

What do u got to say to that?

shoaib is hurt, when your own team doc says there is a ankle fracture then you really are hurting but yes you are right, its too early to jump on his bandwagon just like Afridi I need to see more.

Thankfully its not Shoiab and Sami anymore. Thats why we have been bowling great. We still have some problems on the hair basis umh............ UMAR GUL very long but he is performing. Lets see Gul-Long, Asif-long, Sohil Tanvir-long, Yasir Arafat-short, Rao Anjum-short. Those are the basic fast bowlers. Gul is the only hair problems and Imran Nazir but he is a batsman...
