Umar Gul or Yasir Arafat

Pakistan played a great game one in the ODI series. It was a high scoring game well bated by both teams Sachin Tendulkar 100 Salman Butt 100+ and man of the match. Ushallay when there is a high scoring game that means that the bowlers got hit a lot. Mohammad Asif what a bowler he bowled great. Rana Naved anthor good bowler expensive but took the main wickets. Now there was this one young fellow who I wasnt impressed with and that was Umar Gul. Expensive first three overs and for that Arshad Khan sub'd in. Umar was very expensive I belive over 11 a over. So my main question is should we have Yasir Arafat in the team instead of Umar Gul or do we stick with Gul? And one more think does any one know what happened to Shoiab Akhtar. I am not shure but I think injury? If not he can come in.

I think that we should bring in Yasir Arafat. The reson why is because he is a good young talented player like Gul, but the deffrense is that Gul gets chances and Arafat hardly played on match against England. He bowled great bring him in and Gul should be off the team. Yasir Arafat deserves a match against India.

Arafat should get to play the next match. On pitches like these a bowling-allrounder would be more handy than a specialist bowler. Lucky Pakistan, you have so many allrounders to choose from-Afridi, Razzaq, Mallik, Akmal and now Arafat!

i think Umar Gul was unlucky. He bowled alright until Pathan smashed him but i say it was unlucky as Gul was unfortunate to get that wicket of pathan on the first ball of that over. Hopefully Shoaib Akhtar can come in and play and i would prefer to use Yasir Arafat as a Suber-sub as he can bat or bowl. The next match is in Rawlpindi and in the conditions there the ball comes slower on the bat so i dont think we shuld expect a big run-fest there. If Akhtar is not fit I would like to see Arafat given the chance however, Gul does deserve a few more chances to prove himself.

Also i think Pakistan should keep Malik at no.3 rather then Younis as he is a better striker of the ball

Well I guess Inzi and Bob are fine with Umar. Bowling got hit a lot again and they need changes. In the bowling departmen. Shoiab needs to come back. And Yasir deserves a chance.
