Rotation Policy

Pakistan seem to have adopted a rotation policy, however, they need to find a long term pair for opening. Good policy though because it develops bench strength and creates competition. Also Akmal, needs a back-up, his brother should be given a chance and Zulqarnain, in this series against india, and use Farhat as opener.

As for a good line-up in ODIs this I think is strongest, excluding super-sub rule as it is sset to expire.
1. Imran Farhat/Yasir Hameed
2. Salman Butt
3. Younis Khan
4. Mohammad Yousuf
5. Inzimam
6. Shoaib Malik/Shahid Afridi
7. Kamran Akmal/back-ups
8. Rana Naved
9. Shoaib Akhtar/Yasir Arafat
10.M. Asif / Umar Gul
11.Arshad Khan

for 7,8,9 and 1 I put more than one for rotation policy.

I would agree with that lineup. I would rotate the real high quality players to give the side some stability through games. I think the issue of opening will always hinder Pakistan as long as the problem continues. I think it's a great idea for the build up to the world cup and also to find young talent.

Every thing is right exacept that Malik should be at three. And Zaqurlain should be Kamran's back up. And I personly think that Shahid Afridi is defentlly a OPPENER thats where he started his carrer AKA BIG HITTING

Uham, keep in mind that Afridi was originally spotted as a bowler, and he seems to do well when playing from 6/7, so i would warn against tinkering with that.

As for openers, we need a good domestic system to sort that out.

Younis Khan is a good batsman, and needs to adapt to the 3 position in both forms as he will be next captain. Thats why I put him there because he the lower order is pretty set.

also for 4/5 I would rotate Faisal Iqbal and Bazid Khan and pick another batsman.

These 18 are ones I would rotate ove the next year and try maybe no other player at the moment.

Here is my rotation, and should be Pak's

1.Salman Butt/Imran Farhat
2.Shahid Afridi
3.Shoiab Malik/genral #3 batsman
4.Mohammad Yousuf
5.Inzamam-ul-haq
6.Younis Khan/Fasal Iqbal/Yasir Hammed
7.Abdul Razzaq/AJU Bhai Azher Mahmood
8.Kamran Akmal/Zaqurlain Haider or Moin Khan so he can teach him and play so Akmal can rest
9.Rana Naved/Umar Gul
10.Shoiab Akhtar/Yasir Arafat
11.Arshad Khan/Umar Gul/Danish Kaneria

Super Sub I REALLY REALLY think it should be a allrounder

So the supersub is Azher Mahmood or for this tour Yasir Arafat allrounder
