When Pakistan came to Australia last summer, seeing as we are one of the sides that struggle against true pace, Shoaib took wickets without ever being fit or that interested.

In the first test at Perth he had us at 5/82 at one stage. Unfortunately as Shoaib wore off Australia made 369. Unfortunate for you of course. He took the first wicket in the second innings and then he went off injured. In the next test at Melbourne. Again, Pakistan looked to be commanding Australia. We were 7/220-odd. But Shoaib wore off after having taken his five-fer.

And in the last test at Sydney, well, lets just say that Shoaib's non-appearance left you alot poorer. Danish Kaneria was able to snare 7/180 or so, but you lacked the spark. A bowling attack of Naved-ul-Hasan (who looked promising), Mohammad Sami and Mohammad Asif wasn't good enough.

Put simply, Shoaib seems to have rediscovered a burning desire to play and when he comes back from injury, I think he'll be a potent force for Pakistan, undoubtedly you're matchwinner.
