Exclamation Excuses we could make when we lose in England

DISCLAIMER:This post was written while the authoress' tongue was firmly imbedded in her cheek, it probably is not meant to be taken overtly seriously. Nevertheless viewer/reader discretion is advised for hypersensitive England fans who are easily offended. One would also like to thank everyone for their patience and cooperation in advance. Bless you.

Because a lot of people tend to think Pakistan will be thrashed in the tests when we got to England coming summer (primarily because its a standard rule that all Pakistani batsmen are flat track bullies and that our bowlers our over hyped and that we're quite frankly a rubbish side that only ever plays well on home soil)...so I thought why not come up with some nice, standard, lame excuses in advance. You see, we don't want stay behind in the whinging stakes, because we'll probably give them a pasting in the totally non-important and highly useless activity called one-day cricket, and they'll dish their sour groups on that, so there's bound to be some competition. Our excuses must be lamer then theirs. They must be. Because we'll probably get thrashed in the tests (which needless to say are the most important thing on the planet) we ought to try and win at least some thing, the "who'll be the more disgraceful loser?" competition at least if not the test series it self. So here are my suggestions:

1) The weather was too cold, so we kind of froze.
2) The food on offer wasn't hot enough so there was wide spread indigestion.
3) Forget hot, it wasn't simply enough (and thus with players like Inzi the increased nutrition demand, especially while on tour, was not met)
4) There was too much security, we got cabin fever.
5) There was too much travelling from one place to the other, we got sick because of that.

Feel free to critically analyse them and determine if they're sour enough to meed England's lofty, historic standards in this respect.

Im shure Abdul Razzaq has some experince of that. Remember the food poising issue. Razzaq has to be very careful while eating in England lol.

I believe England will be very keen on avenging the defeat. But I dont think the England team is in a very confident frame of mind right now- after the series in Pakistand and India. ANother concern for England is injury, lets see how many players sit out due to injuries. If Pakistan bats well, there is a very good chance of winning the series.

England will win both test series this summer and Pakistan will win the one day triangular tournament in my opinion.

If that means that the Pakistan fans will make excuses for being beaten in the tests then so be it.The thing is i don't seem to remember making excuses when we lost in Pakistan just stating what i thought may have been the truth. If anything the only time we made real excuses this winter was in India and they failed to beat us in the test series despite England being understrength but then hammered England in their better form of the game which every England fan expected anyway.

Imran khan stated in his interview that we need Shoaib akhtar,Asif and Sami to win the test series in England.

Pakistan has not lost a series in England since 1982 but i guess it will be really tough this time

These "lame excuses" are ridiculus rather than realistic.

I agree. When all is said and done and Inzi retires, we'll all remember his match-winning centuries...nothing else.
