1) Monty spreads confusion by having split personalities, i.r fielding/bowling
2) Pitches are made of marble
3) Harmison just wanted to kill us tauba tauba
4) Inzi did not allow liquor or women.. islamic revolution in team, thus stiff hands let to dropped catches
5) Its no fun beating the English reserve side
6) There is not one proper nan in the whole of england for inzi to eat

I have to say, all the ones I've had from supermarkets have been rubbish. They fall apart the minute you touch them. Have a nan with your curry in a Birmingham curry house, however, and you'll get your full money's worth. If the next test was at Edgbaston, Pakistan would be quids in. Maybe Inzi should have been to Manchester's famous curry mile in Rusholme.

Birmingham curry houses are the best! There's one part near I live where you can take your pick. Down the street it's like: "curry house, curry house, library, curry house, pizzeria, curry house....cross the road, curry house, supermarket, curry house, corner shop, off licence, curry house, curry house"

i find it quite funny that you would try to buy a nan from a supermarket mate!!! thats pita bread proper nan has to be backed in a tandoor/hearth you flatten the dough in a circle and stick it to the side of the hearth and then it bakes into a nan, but by what inzi just did yesterday i think the english curry is agreeing too much with him he bloody sat back on his stumps hehehe

Hey, if I could get a tandoor into the kitchen at home, and had time to cook my nans, I'd be there! I make home made pizza, but nan bread is a bridge too far right now.

I would never want to come between Inzi and his curry. He usually bats for so long, he needs to replenish his energy somehow. If Inzi wanted three lamb bhunas and a family-sized nan, I wouldn't be criticising him.

But this raises the question: aren't england more disadvantaged in Pakistan, than Pakistan are disadvantaged in England? Pakistan's players are used to eating curry a lot of the time, and they can still do this in England. But England's players are used to having curry one night, fish and chips another night, then pizza, then meat pie, then pasta ... which is more difficult to do in Pakistan. So your guys have it easy over here!

When England went to Pakistan they would not have eaten bad food or dodgy food, they would have properly prepared meals that the English mangement would have given them in there expensive 5 star hotel that they would have been staying in. Its not like they were only eating food from a dodgy back alley curry shop.

Good point. But according to Inzi, Woolmer does not allow curries during or just before matches anyway - it is only pasta and salads :-) But yes, if these guys have a few days off in the middle, I am sure they would arrange trips to Southall or Rusholme etc to sample the fine Pakistani fare in those areas.

Absolutely. And having stayed in these hotels in both England and Pakistan, my experience is that the ones in Pakistan have a much better choice of cuisine and much more interesting restaurants. It is not unusual to have a five-star hotel which has separate restaurants/coffee shops for European, Japanese, Chinese and Pakistani food - I didn't come across many hotels in the UK which offer that, at least outside London.

Air Conditioning wasn't working.

Zaheer Abbas:

"The Marriott in London was good, but this is a very small suite, and in many places the AC [air-conditioning] does not work. In Northampton it wasn't working, and some of the players could not sleep. In Ashford the hotel was terrible. The hotels in Pakistan are much, much better. The rooms are bigger and the AC always works."

I was worried about the English fans going back home upset,so I thought we'd let them win. Also because it wasn't they're complete team and making them win will give the young ones a lot of confidence.
