Who was that guy?

This happened, either in '97 or '98. Pak and Srl were playing the Singer Cup in Singapore. Afridi and another player, were suspended for a few games as disciplinary action for having brought some female guests to their room. Something like this did happen. I cant remember the name of the other player. I think he was a replacement for Moin Khan...Any idea who he was?

I think it was some new wkt-keeper. But I dont see any other keeper in the squad, other than Moin...Maybe I've got the time wrong. But I'm this did happen in Singapore.

The wicketkeeper was Atiq-uz-Zaman. That was the first tournament he played, I think. Couldn't adhere to proper discipline I guess. The players involved were Afridi, Hasan Raza and him. I also think this incident took place in 2000.

Thank you, Rineet! Atiq, Afridi, Raza indeed were the 3 involved. I looked up Atiq on Cricinfo and it seems he quit all cricket a couple of years ago. If some Pakistani friend could shed more light on this incident and Atiq's career...
