| What do you guys think? After trying so many combinations, what do you guys think about Inzi and Yousuf to open and Younus comes one down with Malik, Farhat, Afridi and Razzak to follow? Sounds wild uh ?

| Yes, very wild I think Pakistan should really persist with Hafeez at the top order. Partnered with Farhat. My humble opinion. |

| The only thing the pakistan team need is consistency. From top to bottom they should stop changing and chopping for once. Keep hafeez and farhat there as opening pair and follow with yunis, yusuf and the rest. I do think if pakistan can click togather they could be a big threat in the champions trophy |

| Throughout the entire history of cricket the best players have played at four or thereabouts: the idea is partly to protect the best player from the new ball but also to see how the others do - one trusts that players as good as Lara and Inzi can adjust there game depending on how the top three have done... where lesser players only know one way. A major criticism of England's ODI side in the past was that the best players came in straight away: opponents believed that if they got through Tresco and co... the rest would tumble. I really like the fact that Pakistan's middle order is so strong in pyjama cricket: Inzi and Yousuf and 4 and 5 is a dream ticket... and Afridi, Malik and the like are the perfect option for the first 15 overs... leaving the class players for the most important period of the game - I can't see anyone changing that! |
