Captain

Is it right for Younis to lead the side in the champion trophy?

obviously inzi is banned from 4 ODIS so he wont be available to lead pak in the champions trophy, plus even in the long term yunis khan should be captain once inzi retires, IMO he will be a far better captain because he is much more proactive and aggresive plus a smiling temprament!

I am not sure what you really mean by this question, but in my opinion, Younis certainly IS the right man for the job. He has led the side in 2 tests and 2 ODI's in Inzi's absence, and has clearly made an impression on a lot of people (me too, but my opinion dont count )

I think he's only lost one game he's captained, but I'm not sure. Will look it up again.

Inzi has said he's not sure about his future after the WC 2007, and if he decides to only play tests, than Younis will take over the captaincy in ODI's for sure.

So, yes. In my humble opinion, Younis is the right man for the job.

I dont think we have a whole lot of choices here cuz unfortunately, none of the current Pakistani players (including inzi) has the top ability of becomming a good captain and a great decision maker (like the great Imran Khan), but I would still like to explore Razzaq being the vice captain together with Younis being the skipper.

You could be right.

If Salman or Faisal become regular members of the side, what about them. For the long run, I mean.

To me there is no question that it should be Younis to Captain Pakistan with the current players in the side. In fact I would go as far as saying that he should retain the role when Inzi comes back - No disrespect to Inzi, but I would prefer to look to the future and have Inzi more in a role to guide the younger players.

To me, reaction on the bowler's face is more interesting. Poor soul ignores the pleasant surprise and reacts like he bowled some unplayable, wicket taking, ball of the century delivery.

On the contrary, I wonder how come Younis is still part of the squad while his performance is no less worse than Afridi's in the recent games?
