Thumbs up Congratulations Muhammad Yousaf!

Just scored another 50, and in doing so went pass Viv's 30 year record of most runs in a calendar year - truly phenomenal. He also now has the record for most hundreds in a calendar year. Oh, and most runs in any one series by a Pakistani batsmen, going past Zaheer's 583 against India...

Congrats to Yousuf indeed. This year has just been amazing for him. It has to be the calm way he has batted all year this year, that I didn't even doubt that he won't reach it today.

Congratulation!!

Congratulation would not be enough for what He has done during the year.
He deserves something extra ordinary.Something which can reflect hi achievments.
But I still can not uderstand how is it possible, How this dramatic changeover can happen
sooo immediately.A man with whom 'lazy elegance' was assosiated has got rid of taht tag
and has converted into 'lofty elegance'.The who will b most ralieved is Inzi.As his responsibility
to shoulder the pakistani batting is know well shared if not shifted completely. He indeed has
Handed over the tourch to Muhammad Yousaf.

And do you know YO is on the verge of another world record. If he scores a century in his very
next test match he will equal the DON's record of six centuries in same number of matches as Yo
has already scored 5 in 5.

HOWZ THAT.................

Congratulations to Yousuf. What a player. IMO he is argubly the best batsman in the world currently (Ponting close 2nd). He has scored a record 10 centuries in the calendar year and he has scored the most runs in a calendar year, surpassing the great Viv Richards record. He has also scored 6 centuries in 5 games.

I look forward to watching him play in SA next year.

It will be mighty interesting to see how he goes in SA, and against the Aussies. That will really put his fruitful run scoring to the test.

Yes he must be getting close to being World#1, very close between him and Ponting.

Absolutely outstanding performance by Yousaf. This was a phenomenal year for him in tests.

I am also looking forward to see how he performs is South Africa early next year. Perhaps he can start the new calendar year where he finished the last one...On an all time high. (excuses to Octopussy)
