A touch of real class...

Don posted this in the thread A touch of real class... on the England forum (now moved to Men's Cricket forum). This post was reported to me by an irate England supporter who felt it was a wind-up. The posting rule for wind-ups, as I'm sure most members of the board are aware, is:
Quote:
Please, do not say anything provocative on opposition forums. Team forums are sanctuaries from deliberate wind-ups or other comments that could obviously annoy or upset opposition supporters. Don't say anything you wouldn't say to an opposition supporter to their face in their clubroom with their team-mates menacingly standing around you holding cricket bats! Get the picture?
Although, wind-ups are generally unpleasant they may be tolerated on a neutral forum such as Men's Cricket. However, they are inappropriate on a team forum which is a sanctuary from such remarks. We want these team forums to contain thoughtful and sensible discussion and annoying wind-ups just spoil these discussions and lower the tone of the board.

Consequently, due to this and other infractions that Don has been previously been warned about, Don has been banned from posting to the England forum for 24 hours. This ban should be regarded as a wake-up call, nothing else. Don is welcome to continue posting on this board as long as he observes the forum rules.
