Thankfully, the incidence of such words on our board is rare. When they are used our software will replace certain words with asterisks like this: ****. Unfortunately, some people are partially censoring these words when they should be completely censored. Example: f*.*k is unacceptable even though the word is partially censored. Unfortunately, it's still obvious what the word is and since we may have young children reading our posts it's unacceptable. Please replace the entire word with asterisks if you must use it at all. If the moderators come across partially censored words they will edit your post to completely censor the word with asterisks or remove the word entirely if, in their opinion, the use of it is gratuitous and lowers the tone of the board. In some cases, you may receive a PM to remind you of the forum rules you accepted when you registered. Our monitoring of this is to ensure the board continues to be a pleasant place to visit for current and new members.

Just to let everyone know that I have recently added a warning to the registration message concerning swearing that a 24 ban would be immediately applied.
Although our software can asterisk swear words that doesn't condone the use of such words. Most of our members will be offended because they still recognize the swear word despite the partial masking with asterisks. From now on use of swearing will incur an immediate 24 hour ban. Please understand that it is likely that young cricket fans read our threads and we don't want to give them a bad impression of our board.
