I guess im not too disappointed with him bcuz he still did pretty well in the Mumbai test against the aussies and hes just recovered from his injury;so hed probably take things at a slow pace altho i think it'd do him a lot of good if he tried pariticipating in the domestic fixtures for some match practice.

Red face

ya know what ..this series just finished between indian and southafrica was not one of the greatest..it was utterly boring with none of the batsmen in any real form at all . I was terribly dissapointed and I hope to see better cricket matches in the nnot so distant future..I will warn S.A that they really must play more attractive cricket..they style is utterly boring and uneventful. If I were a sponsor - and I most certainly am not - I would be asking for my money back.

South Africans does not play spin well the Indian series is a big evidence of that . I think it is good for them that they lost one match only instead of losing two in the series . I think they need a new skipper . greame Smith has fialed in playing his team as a unit . they will have to think on it seriously!!!!!!!!

I dont think an overhaul is a very good idea.Honestly almost all their players lack experience. And its just that some of their best players retired all at once.So as a captain;Smith didnt have many options to choose from.Maybe some exposure to the young players will get them prepared slowly.U cant expect miracles overnight.

I agree, Stephen Fleming was put under all sorts of scrutiny when he was a young captain, and simply by putting faith in him, look where he is now. I think Smith just needs to be persisted with.
