| Well John if England do with the last two matches, like it or not, it will be a drawn series, and both sides will deserve what they achieve, be it a draw for both sides or a defeat for England. We managed to do this on our last tour to India, we did it against the Windies. I can't see a crisis with a team losing 2-1 in a one day series, just having beaten South Africa in the more important Test series. Back in October John, I realised that South Africa would be no pushover #22431 , and it has turned out that way, but all South Africa can hope for now is the ODI series.

Ern, I will rephrase that if England keep on playing as they have in this oneday series they don't deserve anything. Yes England did win the more important series but you would of thought they would want to press home the advantage. Not with the poor performance we have seen so far. The Aussies are the bench mark they would have put in such poor performances.

Rain won the series for us. Bad, bad batting S A. Gough was the best bowler for England IMHO. He was very entertaining to watch. Gibbs another ton, what an awesome batsman!

Now for Zim and the Windies. Hope we've sorted out enough to play some good games, maybe even win some.

The future doesn't look so bleak for SA cricket. It now gives the team some time to build without too much pressure from the press and public. There is the basis of good ODI side but some work will still have to be done.
