If England win the Ashes you can use amazing. But I think you are jumping the gun. He may be less amazing come the end of the summer. I think it is always useful to bear in Chairman's Moa's reply when asked what he thotught of the effects of the French Revolution? reply "It's too early to tell" ( and this is 180 years after the French Revolution).

It must have been a tough decision for the SA cricket board, to sack Jennings after his team has beaten West Indies 2-0 and 4-0 (still going) away...but in essence hiring in his place a relatively low profile coach might turn out to be a good move. A good coach is like a good editor of a successful magazine or newspaper...he runs things from the background, not minding being overshadowed by the real people ...I don't know anything about Mickey Arther...but something gives me the feeling given his low profile he migh just fill that bill.
