Action cricket is a good, fun game for sure, and 39R sounds pretty cheap. I play in the local leagues in Petone, New Zealand and it is very enjoyable, as regardless of standard; you can still have a good game.

Sadly, Cape Town is a bit too far for me to travel, but good luck with it!

Indoor Cricket in New Zealand, but in England Indoor Cricket is not the same as Action Cricket.

Action Cricket = half the distance to run for the batsmen, batsmen get to face 4 overs each and lose 5 runs for each dismissal.
Indoor Cricket = full pitch length for batsmen, hard ball so pads & gloves a necessity, one run for hitting the wall and once you are out, you're out.

Very different games.

Thanks Andy I used to play indoor in my early teens (otherwise known as action cricket it seems) loved the game. I think when I stop living in a one horse town I'll get back into it, it's pretty tiring though despite the small area when I played we pretty much ran on every delivery with the non-striker aiming to arrive at the other end about the same time as the ball.

Sadly I cant play for our friend in Cape Town as the commute would be a bit much.
