Lance Klusener

Still the king!
last nite lance blasted the eastern cape warriors for 38 off 17 balls including 2 sixes in a row to different parts of the field!
still south africas best!
kemp meanwhile is not scoring at all in oz,would kluseners presence and ability, experience and fighting spirit not have helped the sa team against a aussie team lookin to clobber sa!?
tsk..tsk....
when will we eva learn!
age should neva be an excuse for talent that win matches!

Good to see Lance still playing well. Hasn't played international cricket in over a year, I hope he can at least get into the one day team at some stage because I would like to see his big hitting again.

Why not include both Kemp and Klusener in the South African squad in the VB series? Both are valuable all-rounders. Also, what happened to Roger Telemachus, the fast-bowler who played for South Africa 2-3 years back. Has he quit cricket? I thought he was a very good paceman for South Africa and he can be played instead of the present inexperienced pace bowlers that South Africa have in their squad.

I miss big Zooloo - he was one of the most entertaining cricketers i have witnessed and one of my favourites

Though i didn't know the details i still felt his dropping was unjustified - he has huge match winning ability

Will we see him again?

I think Zulu should be given opportunity to play in the World Cup because he is a good player and a handy batsmen in the lower order in the World Cup because of his fighting spirits and his ability. After that I think he should take a job of coaching or development officer and should work in developing young players in the country or in different country. He got tremendous talent.

Newbie

I think Klusener is past it. Justim Kemp is a better option as he is not as old as Klusener. Also when Kemp was smashing England all over the place, no one commented. Most players struggle against Australia. Give Kemp a break, he will come good. Note: when Klusener toured Australia back in 2001-2002, his performance was shocking to say the least. It seems people only remember what they want to

I agree with you gibbs_fan...It seems like Kepler is the only person who still seems to think Zulu has a place in the Safrican team.

Kemp is definitely SA's best bowling-hard hitting all-rounder at the moment...
