| Aahh..Roy Pienaar...that man was a Titan! (blonde hair and blue eyes to boot!) Don't want to burst your bubble Ben, but the titans will have some stiff competition this season. Especially from the Eagles, and of course the Cobra's, who now seem to have some sting to their bowling. (or maybe that's what my heart tells me) Coming Sunday the Titans will be without their international players, AB de Villiers, Justin Kemp and Andre Nel. But as you stated, it is still a very good side they have... |

| Wow! What a weekend of cricket it was! Cobras beating Eagles, & how's the Doplhins victory yesterday! Looks like the local okes are really pushing the selectors! Also, the Champions Trophy is gonna be great coz Gibbs looks in stunning form, Lara's brief knock yesterday looked good & Tendulkar is in blistering form! Gayle also looks like he's gonna knock 'em outta the park! |

| That game on Friday night was a NAILBITER wastn't it! And how about the Dolphins chasing down that huge Titans score?! I'm hopefully gonna have an interview with Van der Wath and Tshabalala later on today, so I think I want to ask them a question or two about what they think is going slightly pear-shaped for the Eagles at the moment... Of course that injury to Boje must be a huge blow to the team...and its not like they have a big pool of reserves to go dive into... |

| Titans as always will be difficult to beat in the MTN competition but I do not see them in the top 2 for the 4 day competition. Well, they shared the trophy last year. So who's to say they won't come close again this year?? Yes - SA strength currently lies with the Cobras and Titans........... Have a good one

Listen, how did your match go over the weekend? I am very interested to hear! Score a couple of runs, did you? |

| Eagles YES.......... They are also a good outfit - but they crack under pressure over the weekend...... Never under estimate them. We lost against Pirates on Sunday - We scored 152/10 and they got 244/6. But then again, our side is young, avg age of 20. And the best was our opening bat, Christian (polish born) scored 74 off 80 and he is only 15...... Saturday we beat Wanderers I got a duck on Sunday and did not bat on Saturday. I did take four catches and made 2 stumpings though...

Cobras won it with a bonus point to boot... But did you see any of Friday night's game? Man, what a humdinger! I really thought the Dolphins had it all signed, sealed and delivered, but then the Eagles came back mightily with firstly Tshabalala and then THAT final over bowled by Telemachus. Anyhow, so you beat the Wanderers nč? So, who's that opening bowler of yours then? Sounds quite lively...Or are you pulling my socks? Well, I interviewed Morne van Wyk last week (will be posted here on WAT soon), and he said one thing that is great about keeping, is that even if you don't contribute with the bat, you can make up with good glovework.. And it seems that is exactly what you did! Congrats...Let me know about your future games...Even if you do beat the Wanderers again... |

| Wanderer Well I dont follow the domestic all that closely normally - playing cricket both days of the weekend. But I do read the news and stuff to stay informed. The bowler is Anton Kruger - he is 20 now and made Gauteng u/19 2 years ago. But like so many good cricket players I know, he plays whenever he feels like it. That is probably why he is not playing cricket at a higher level. I believe that it is at club level thatr we lose all our good players........ Cheers!!!! Gotto go

| Hi Ben...Thanks for that. If you do not watch a lot of cricket over the weekends, you would have missed this very interesting snippet from some commentators on Sunday. The match between The Eagles and Cobras. One or two of them mentioned that club cricket should be better looked after...as that is the life blood of the Franchises. Of course, that is easier said that done. It's no good if these players only play when they "feel like it". Who knows, SA may be losing out on some very good players... Is Anton a uni student? |
