I recall a certain mr Clive Eksteen ...
I saw the other day that Dominic Cork is still playing county cricket. Who else (forgoten sons of English and New Zealand cricket) is still playing at first class level? - I am reffering to players of note. And what is Jeff Wilson doing these days? |
I remember Eksteen. He didn't play too long ago did he? [actually, just looked it up and his last test was in 2000!]. Can't remember too much about him though. I think I recall him playing against England a long, long time ago. Decent player.
But anyway, I think there's a whole other thread in this topic, Ben! There are loads of forgotten players still plying their trade in domestic cricket. Graeme Hick and Mark Ramprakash are the two obvious ones in England.
As for Jeff Wilson, I'm not sure what happened to him after his much vaunted ODI comeback in 2005. I guess he got injured as I can't remember seeing him in NZ State Cricket last year.
EDIT: Here's the lowdown on Jeff:
