Who is Makhaya Ntini going to replace? OK Macky is back in the team who would you like to be dropped? I voted for Nel to be dropped he is good, effective wicket taker...however against more formidiable opposition I think he won't be an efficient one...I can see Ponting heavily targeting Nel. With Hall and Langeveldt you have more variation in the attack... Langeveldt offers swing and perhaps reverse swing options...he has a good slower ball...and is effective at the death. Hall also has variation...effective slower ball and effective at the death...and its handy batting all the way to number 9 as seen in the warm-up matches....though he could get in based purely on his bowling form. I feel Nel will probably stay...I may be proven right or wrong...Hall has done too much to be neglected again... which leaves Langeveldt. Side Note: I saw the footage of Ntini coming through the airport earlier this week...he was SOO funny...cracking jokes....also sounded very confident. Gotta love him!

Don't get me wrong Nel has a great presence on the field that fans and players enjoy. But to win this world cup...I don't think Nel will be able to strangle the runs. Though he is improving all the time...his line and length are better.

And I would not even think of replacing Andrew Hall with anyone at present. He is having a purple patch with both bat and ball and seems to be a lucky mascot to the Proteas.

would be hall for me, nel has pace, gets swing and is a genuine wicket taker....although hall can bat they have good enough batters to do the business there, langeveldt is a good bowler, keeps it tight and has swing and variation, although all is handy at times, can be expensive and is only a back up bowler really, thats why he should drop out for me.

Well my father was bang on the money...on the day that Pollock took 5 wickets against Pakistan he said...that Pollock was going to smacked silly against a quality batting-line and a 'nothing' pitch. Do you think that he will be targeted further...?
