Champions Trophy

The 2 wickets we have seen so far seem to have a lot of grass on them. This raises a question of Murali's role in the Sri Lankan side in these circumstances. Specially against Lara who plays him exceptionally well. Albeit Murali was rather useful with the bat in the Bngladesh game but I feel we missed the big hitting capability of Kapugedera. There was a mini collapse in the lower middle order that Murali rectified more by chance than design !

Maybe Murali should sit out the Windies game and Kapu play instead ?

We would still have 6 bowling options with Vaas, Malinga, DIlhara, Maharoof, Jayasuriya and Dilshan.

Not a bad suggestion at all, considering that both the Windies AND Sri Lanka are through to the CT finals anyway...

On the other hand, I don't think the rest of the wickets will have much help for the bowlers.

What ball are they using? Is it the SG or Kookaburra?

They are using the Kookaburra white ball.
