What has NZ "rallying" to possibly beat Sri Lanka in the semi final, have to do with Australia beating Sri Lanka in a largely meaningless super 8 match ? Is this the "backfire" you and all the critics are looking for ?!!

Yeah that Bond thing looked very dodgy indeed, its a shame that no one but Australia is taking these match ups seriously, its degrading the game.

come'on guys... we are not living a perfectly honest world anymore.
If Aussies can use profanity or sledging as means of mental games than Y cant Sri Lankans prepare a strategy to increase their chances of advancement ??
I totally support Sri Lanka for all the hard work together with some SMART WORK.
As I've said in another posts, Sri Lanka has an edge of 51/49 over Australia.
Go Lankans... bring the cup back to Asia !!!!!

HAHA, "out thinking the Aussies"? They had every intention of winning and did just that. It is that type of mindset that warrents admiration.

Red face

What Lanka DIDN"T do was give batting practice to the OZ and what they DID do was allow our top batsman to face their best bowlers.

It may actually have helped us to cream the pants of the Kiwis' like we just did....in case you didn't notice.

Furthermore if the Saffers are able to create an upset today by getting a few top order Aussies out cheaply, we may have succeeded beyond our wildest dreams.
