That strategy has worked so far, but will it do so on the fast and bouncy Kensington Oval pitch against the batting might of the Australians? While I believe that Sri Lanka
can beat them, the fact remains that Oz are the toughest opposition that SL have yet faced. Nothing short of a very strong bowling attack will be required and I am not sure of total dependence on the Jayasuriya-Dilshan combo for the 5th bowling option will be enough. It is likely to be a close match anyway and what SL don't want is their '5th bowler' making the difference in favour of the opposition.
The other Sri Lanka batsmen and Maharoof to some extent can cover for Arnold's absence as a batsman, but IMO it will be more difficult for the 3 pacemen and Murali to cover for the part-time bowlers against Australia.
