| Harmy Disappointing Harmison seems a shadow of his former self. His direction is very wayward and he cannot sustain the hostile bounce or lift that he now occasionally gets. When we saw what Malinga did to Pieterson....Harmy used to be able to do that every day of the week.

| I have watched the bulk of this series, and for mine, i reckon Harmison has bowled pretty well. The problem with Harmison is that he is not a man for all occasions, and these slower SL wickets have not suited him at all. If he had bowled in Australia last year like he has in this series, he would have done well. Must be very frustrating for an English fan to have such talent rarely reaching his potential.

| The problem with Harmison is that we have nobody to replace him. We have tried with people like Mahmood and ol' Sajid is even worse the Steve-o-nator. Come back Darren Gough all is forgiven

| Tremlett can do the job. |

| I don't think so - IMO the England bowling at the moment has no like for like replacement for Harmison, Tremlett would be ok as part of a side with an on form (or Harmison) like bowler.

| Well the wicket is Galle was quick and bouncy and ideal for Harmison. He should have been used in five over spells and told to bowl fast and aggressively rather than trying to keep the runs down and bowling balls that the batsmen could leave. He only bowled aggressively when he got a wicket and got his tail up. But after an over or two when nothing happened he gave up and went back to containing. |

Like Ern i disagree, Tremlett lacks the raw pace. When fully fit Harmison can still get 92mph+ and sustain it Tremletts flat out at 88-90. Quote:
Harmison has bowled well this series and has shown that he is still a better bowler than Broad or Tremlett. In this innings had we been able to catch he would have ended up with a good 5 wicket haul.

| Too Soft You guys are too soft on Harmison. There was nothing at all wrong with the Galle wicket. Harmi and Hoggy should have been unplayable on it. Did you see Vaas ? They just bowled the wrong length and too many wide balls that batsmen didn't have to play at. What's all this about SUICIDE to charge in on hot conditions ? I have never heard of anyone dying of running in hard and bowling quick (which is what they get paid for) in hot conditions. These days they can re-hydrate after each over....COME ON !!! As long as the fans expect so little from your trump cards they will remain firmy in their comfort zones ! Did you see Vaugn getting out in the second innings ? Man in India he would have had his house stoned !!!! No racial comments please !

| Are you kidding me? Tremlett is nowhere near good enough to be an international fast bowler. Tremlett's selection would be terrible.
