The numbers may not say it, but it was always evident that Flintoff was something special, Ricky Clarke in MHO is no Flintoff, and never will be.

I'm not saying Clarke will be special, or up their with Flintoff, just that if he ever gets his game sorted out, he has potential to be a good player. There are many things that are improbable, but very few that are impossible!!

Ahh, "Rampaging Rikki Clarke". Considered England's "Great White Hope" at 20 years old when thrown into the Champions Trophy squad. Since then, he has performed consistenly ordinarily and one good performance on top of other ripping performances (1 off 30, 4 off 30, 1 off 4) in the "Tests" should see him not play for England for a few years.

You shot yourself in the foot, Mr. Clarke

The Guardian says he's been discharged now. He collapsed out there and they carried him off of the field and 2 overs later he was back out there Untill he collapsed again and they rushed him to hospital.

I hope that guy gets better soon too.

Next match on Wednesday. England A take on Pakistan this time. We've send in a reasonably strong team, so I expect us to win And what's with all these players being rushed to hospital, what's happened to Shah and Gunawardene? What ever it is I hope they get well soon.

Good call ZR! Pakistan A do very well and win by 5 wickets. 23 year old all-rounder Yasir Arafat was the main destroyer, taking 6 wickets as the strong England A batting line-up was all-out for just 79.

Doesn't sound like the wicket was up to much. Were they playing at the Rose Bowl ???

I should imagine you're right, as we got them 5 down chasing 80! However, I suspect we may have had a shocker with the bat, and contributed to our own downfall. Anyone know how many games they are due to play?

Is that the same Yasir Arafat who played some cricket for Scotland last season?
