Interview with Phil Jaques

Phil Jaques is a selected member of the WAT Australia A team. Questionnaires were sent out to the players who got in the team. The first to reply has been Phil Jaques, opening batsman for New South Wales and Yorkshire. New South Wales have been very helpful in particular in assisting me with getting questionnaires out to their guys and interview with their other players are in the pipeline. I would like to thank NSW, and Donna Anderson in particular at their end. I hope you enjoy reading what he has to say.

Q1. How were you first introduced to cricket, and what about the game got you hooked?

Once again. Many thanks to Phil for kindly participating in our questionnaire and answering the questions that were posed. I hope you enjoyed the discussion as much as I did.

I'd hold your horses Paoli. I've contacted Hants in the past, but the rose bowl website people are as good as useless. Fortunately, I know someone at Hants who knows all the staff and players (he used to work there) and will help me out. If you'd like to let me know what you want to ask Sean, I'll see if I can help you out.
