| WI Retainer Contracts Eight West Indian players have been offered retainer contracts. They are: Brian Lara Shiv Chanderpaul Ramnaresh Sarwan Chris Gayle Fidel Edwards Corey Collymore Dwayne Bravo Denesh Ramdin 10 players scored above the required rating to qualify but due to the board's financial position only 8 could be offered.  |

| No huge surprises in the list to be honest, although Denesh Ramdin's place on the list is an interesting one. He is currently under huge pressure from Carlton Baugh who has looked just as good behind the stumps, if not better, and has given some aggressive batting performances low down the order. If Ramdin fails in the first couple of tests against India could we see Baugh coming into the side? |
