India Series Under Threat?

http://uk.cricinfo.com/ci/content/cu...ry/253975.html

The WI vs India ODI series could be threatened by the current dispute between the WICB and the players. I am not in much of a position to comment, having had little chance to review the dispute and of course not being a West Indian myself, but I wanted to see what you guys thought about the whole thing.

It looks as though the entire series was agreed without either the players or the board knowing anything about it! It's pretty worrying in my eyes if the President of the board agrees something without consulting the board - kinda negates the whole point of having a board.

It's all a bit confusing, but it certainly seems like a lot of behind-closed-doors dealing has been going on. I wonder how the players are supposed to improve the team's performances when everything that has gone on with the board is in the back of their minds. It's such a shame to see the state of the game in the country of Richards, Sobers, Holding, Lara et al.
