Marlon Samuels named in match fixing probe

http://content-uk.cricinfo.com/indvw...ry/279474.html

What utter rubbish!!

Everybody knows you don't have to coerce, financially or otherwise, the current WI team members into losing games!

They do that for free!!

I checked out the news on television about the police tapping into the phone call. The text of the phone call was displayed on the screen and the name of 'Robin Singh',former India cricketer popped up.The officials couldn't make out whether it's Robin Singh or Robinson, but it could be Singh because he was born in Trinidad and spent much of his life in the West Indies.

From what I remember, Robin Siingh actually played for the trinidad U-19 team in what was the Northern telecom youth cricket competition, before migrating to India, where he played some ODIs for India.

I am disturbed by some of the things Samuels said to the bookie. And that he could have a six-year friendship with the man!
