Looks a good side, and Edwards is on fire when on form, but i think one downfall of his game is his consistency (which we all know), the lack of it. He can far be too inconsistent, spraying it around vs the Aussies, something they would take full advantage of. However, in saying that, he looks on top of his game in the 2nd test vs Sri Lanka, so yea, same team as you for test 1.

1. Chris Gayle (c)
2. Sewnarine Chattergoon
3. Ramnaresh Sarwan
4. Devon Smith
5. Shiv Chanderpaul
6. Dwayne Bravo
7. Denesh Ramdin (w)
8. Sulieman Benn/Amit Jaggernaught
9. Jerome Taylor
10. Fidel Edwards
11. Corey Collymore

Never seen Amit bowl, and only watched a few overs of Benn, but 1 has to be given a run in the side, especially after the way Banks + Mohammed have fallen away in recent years.

Speaking of Sammy (previous posts). where has he gone? Took a bagful of wkts recentl vs the English, then disappeared, he injured?

Apparently not, as he's playing in the first ODI agaisnt Sri Lanka now. It'd be good if the Windies had a couple of decent pace reserves, and Sammy would be my choice to replace Powell if Collymore was unavailable.

Yeah, guess he's fit.

Although he hasn't bowled yet (nor has Benn, been given a 1-day chance), the Windies are in control of a new look Sri Lanka side, couple of new unheard of guys to me in their line up, one dismissed early (Udawatte), one in the bowling side of things.

Could be a good series for the Windies me thinks.

Edit: Bravo has another, 49-5 now Sri Lanka, also noticed Jerome Taylor has "Tayrol" printed on his shirt
