Just to let you know that I am also admin. As admin I have a far greater range of permissions than Mike does. I registered Mike so I can see the forum as other regular users would. Administrators and Moderators see a few extra links in some of the drop-down menus to enable them to manage the Forum. Anyway, I notice that you haven't selected Instant E-mail Notification in the Edit Options section of the User CP. I also notice you haven't selected Yes to be notified when you receive Private Messages (PMs).

Pop up a Notification Box When a Private Message is Received

I have already sent a PM to you. Go to User CP -- List Messages to see it.
