| Shaka, I've only been in Islamabad for a couple of days, I'm not resident in Pakistan you see, have been touring here and have to date visited Karachi, Murree, Abattabad, Peshawar, Pindi and Islamabad. I'd be leaving for my native England as soon as I'm done with my work here. I have hence no idea of who Riaz Afridi is, let alone know how good his chances are. Good luck to both teams!

| So are you assuming SL will bat..or that Pak will bat and get out before the day is over? tut tut..oh ye of little faith! |
| ||||
| You may well be right...esp. if the reports about Younis Khan coming in instead of Kamal are right... is Younis going to bat at no.3 and provide solidity? Unlikely, me thinks... Call me naive, if you will, but I could do the following information... {a} at which location is the divinely revealed Tablet kept? You know the one... it states that no matter what the team situation, form of the game (ODI or Test), importance of the match, strenght of the opposition or pressure on the players, Inzi will come in at no. 4 and Yoyo at no. 5... because otherwise, it makes sense to send the team's most experienced and best batsman at no.3... or does Inzi feel he is not the best batsman in the side? {b} shouldn't new, inexperienced middle order batsmen be tried in the middle-order? Kamal did excellently as a no.6 previously in shepherding the tail and getting big scores... so why was he sent in at no.3 when he is not a top-order batsman!!!?? And now why are we even considering dropping him when he seems to be our grittiest batsman?!?!?!?!?!??!?!?!?!?!?!?! |

| Either Woolmer or the selectors don't seem to be convinced by Asim Kamal for some reason. Personally I think that any player should be prepared to play at no 3 but that includes Inzi, Younis Khan and Youhanna so i very much agree it seems unfair to ask a relatively inexperienced player to bat in a position where so many older pros seem reluctant to take on this responsibility. Could Shoaib Malik do a job there like he does in ODI's I wonder? |

| Cricinfo says Shoaib def. is not playing and that Inzi has confirmed Rana and Afridi will play. So they are not calling up a last minute replacement from somewhere to replace Razzaq... hmmm...can Rana, Razzaq, R.Afridi, Malik and Kaneria get 20 wickets in a test match? I seriously doubt it! I have a bad feeling about this match.....

| I don't particularly think I need to justify my acts to you, but my work is computer based and I can well and duely manage cricket and work together - wouldn't it be nicer if we all stuck to minding own buisnesses and leave the rest to the rest.
