Provided that WI mop up the last Bangladeshi wicket fairly quickly, I would still say that they were favourites to win this first test. I feel anything under 450 is a sub-par total for this pitch. Bangladesh's strength lies in their batting, and I think the Windies' batsmen will shred the Banga bowling attack.

Just seen that at lunch on Day 5, Bangladesh lead by 239 runs with two second innings wickets remaining. Draw looks on the cards, and even the possibility of a win for Bangladesh must exist if WI make an unsuccessful chase for it.

Bangladesh actually declared their second innings - quite some achievement from their overnight position. They also have a three centurions in the match - having scored just five (or is it six) centuries in all their previous test matches.

This has been a very bad performance by West Indies, and I expect them to come back hard in the next match.
