1.Wavell Hinds
2.Ricardo Powell
3.Ramnaresh Sarwan
4.Brian Lara
5.Shivnarine Chanderpaul
6.Xavier Marshall
7.Dwayne Bravo
8.Courtney Browne
9.Ravindranath Rampaul

12.Mervyn Dillion , Dave Mohammed (left arm spinner , will be a great bowler in no time)

West indies team are not dominating currently but are set very well to be a team to be reconed with in the future.

Where is Chris Gayle?

And yes, I do think they are strong enough to make it to the top, what they really need is a couple of game-breaking bowlers, such as the likes of Best and Lawson. Their batting line-up is top notch, they have a good keeper, and with good bowlers, they will become a good all-round side. The test team still has a long way to go though.

Pretty much nowhere really. Lara should target the next world cup at least.

I personally feel quite sorry for Lara. With a couple of exceptions there doesn't seem to be much professionalism in the younger players of the side, yet despite their shortcomings Lara has to carry their blame, as well the knowledge that if he fails, the team almost always loses.

Sarwan and Bravo seem to be the only other real professionals amongst that squad, and hopefully the new coach King can drill some discipline into the rest, the series against South Africa should be quite intriguing anyway.

Plus Lara cops a lot of flak for poor captaincy etc. I think most of that is a load of rubbish, Lara through my eyes is doing all that he can, its his players that aren't backing him up.

Correct, everyone in the st up seems happy with Lara as captain, the only other alternative is Sarwan, but let him be the 2nd best batsman for as long as he can - Lara is the kind whose form wont get troubled by captaincy, Sarwan's might do!!
