Barrington Rowland is an opener for Karnataka( the team for which Rahul Dravid and Anil Kumble play in Ranji Trophy). He had a double century in the present Ranji season which has inflated his average a great deal. Personally, I think Shikhar Dhawan is a much better bet as an opener.

Barrington Rowland is a Karnataka opening batsman. I think some good players who deserve to be in India A are: Suresh Raina (UP all-rounder) J.P.Yadav( MP all-rounder)

How about Sanjay Bangar. He really deserves to be in the India A side after all he was the main man in this year's Ranjit trophy winning champions Railways.A fantastic batsman and a fairly good seamer.
